So I took my cockatiel Skyler to the vet yesterday to get her wings clipped. They clipped them so short not only do they look like chicken wings, the secondary feathers were clipped and it's all ragged! What should I do? D:

Just let them grow out again and keep your bird in the cage if its the first time getting them clipped because it can really hurt itself if it still thinks it can fly. Either take the bird somewere else next time, ask the vet to take less off, or dont clip them. I don't clip my birds wings anymore and they learned to fly around perfectly and beautifully without hurting themselves or any objects.

wow! does she have male tiels around or is she laying randomly? just be sure to make sure she doesn't lay to many, or it may deplete her calcium unnecessarily and can be dangerous.

She has a mate with her so don't worry

taking potential nesting areas away can stop laying for single, solitary female tiels

So can controlling their light. But it doesn't always work. Cockatiels can lay eggs without having a mate, much as chickens can. Controlling how many hours of light they get can help, as they mainly lay during certain times of the year.

I'd love to take on co-founders and co-admins but I'm not DA savvy enough to know how. But if you know, you can message me about it and I'll do my best!
